Overview:

Reebok, a subsidiary of Adidas, is a major producer of athletic shoes, apparel, and accessories.

Originally called J.W. Foster and Sons in 1895 it was later renamed Reebok in 1960 by the founders' grandsons. The name comes from the Afrikaans spelling of rhebok, a type of African antelope or gazelle.
